GROUP CHIEF ACCOUNTANT (1 POSITION-CORPORATE OFFICE)

Job Responsibilities:
The candidate will be based in our corporate office in Mumbai and will be a key member of the company's senior Management team reporting to the Director. The principal responsibility of the candidate will be to provide superb financial control, business operations support and overseeing the working of the Accounts department. He will work closely with the IT division in upgrading the accounting systems, Management reporting and internal control systems. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing financial policies and procedures. Group Accounts finalization, budget preparation and monitoring, cash flow management, statutory compliances, taxation and interaction with external agencies would make up the job responsibilities.

Qualification & Experience:
The candidate should be a qualified Chartered Accountant with a minimum 10-15 years of experience in disbursement accounts, banking operations/RBI dealings, FEMA and Company law matters, and statutory accounts and handling all types of accounts up to finalization in a shipping agency group. The candidate must possess strong organizing and man management skills. He should be business and controls focused, highly motivated and result oriented. He must have a good understanding of internal controls and the ability to train staff. Exposure to IT is a must. The candidate should be a through professional and have high standards of integrity. GENERAL MANAGER - LINE

Job Responsibilities:
Primary responsibilities of the incumbent would be to lead the sales team., set targets and allocate them, devise and implement strategies to achieve and exceed those targets, Responsible for performance in all trade lanes, Monitor performance; extend help and guidance, Ensure proper equipment availability and utilization by developing an account base such that equipment balance is achieved automatically, Daily monitoring of bookings & reporting to foreign principals. Monitoring of receivables & outstanding and reporting the same periodically to the Management. In addition the candidate would also be required to represent the Line in various Conferences, liaison with Principals & Government bodies, Co-ordinate activities on All India basis Planning, Budgeting & Budgetary control, Identification of new markets, Strategy formulation, Manpower planning, training and motivating the sales staff & strategy formulation.

MANAGER BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT- BULK (1 POSITION-MUMBAI & CHENNAI)

Job Responsibilities :
The incumbent would be responsible for developing relations with leading trading houses/shippers/consignees involved in Import Export of bulk commodities. Establishing the company presence in and marketing of the company's bulk services to the trade. He would be in addition responsible for meeting new customers, vessel owners and charter's of vessels for business development. The job involves extensive traveling within the country and overseas.

Qualification & Experience :
The candidate should be a management graduate from either IIM or IIFT, preferably with a shipping background. He should have at least 5-7 years of experience in an international trading house with relevant experience in handling commodities and also shipping fixtures. The candidate will be provided orientation for at least six months in shipping/bulk trade and ports, should be willing to learn and then carry out the job functions assigned. In addition the candidate should be an excellent negotiator with strong commercial acumen and communication skills. The preferred age is between 32-38 years.

Job Responsibilities :
The candidate will be based in one of our agency offices in Mumbai reporting to the Group Chief Accountant. The principal responsibility of the candidate will be overseeing the working of the Accounts department. Job Responsibilities:
The candidates will be posted in our Mumbai & Goa offices and would be overall responsible for port operations, attending to vessels, customs and other formalities. He would also need to liaise with shippers/consignees, customs, port and immigration authorities and Principals.

Qualification & Experience :
The candidate should be a Master Mariner with about 5-10 years of hands-on experience in port agency operations with a proven track record of handling container and dry cargo vessels of Iron Ore/coal and other commodities. Must be fully conversant with the handling of container break- bulk, bulk, tanker vessels, off shore handling and all husbanding related matters. The candidate must also possess good knowledge of port/customs/immigration and other official requirements. Good communication, computer and leadership required with capacity to effectively and independently communicate with foreign Principals and masters of the vessels. The candidate should not be over 40 years of age.






MANAGER OPERATIONS -TANKERS & LIQUID CARGO (Positions at Mumbai)

Job Responsibilities :
The Candidate will head the Operations department for Tankers and Liquid Cargo, be overall responsible for all Port,& customs related operations. Handle all tanker vessels calling Mumbai Ports/terminals. Liaise with Principals, vendors, send PDA and final expenses. Maintain statistics and ensure efficient vessel operations on an overall level.

Qualification and Experience :
Candidates should be preferably Master Mariners in with a minimum 8-10 years in similar field. Good knowledge of tanker vessels and terminal requirements, ISPS procedures, SEP policy. Good communication and computer skills required. Must be proactive and posses strong man management skills. The candidate should not be over 40 years of age.
